Mælikvarðaskekkja (ppm = milljónarhlutur)

Þessi þekja sýnir mælikvaðaskekkjur (Scale) fyrir Lambert Conformal Conic (2SP) kortavörpunina sem oftast er notuð fyrir ISN hnitakerfin, stundum nefnd ISNET vörpun. ISN93 EPSG:3057, ISN2004 EPSG:5325 og ISN2016 EPSG:8088. Þegar mælikvarðinn er jákvæður þýðir það að raunveruleg lengd er styttri en lengd reiknuð með kortahnitum og öfugt ef kvarðinn er neikvæður. 1 ppm jafngildi 1mm á kílómeter. Til þess að fá góða nálgun á raunverulegri lengd á sporvölu GRS80 er kortalengd með mælikvarðanum. Sem dæmi ef mælikvarðinn er 300 ppm þýðir það að 1000,30m í kortahnitum er í raun 1000m.
