Landupplýsingaþekja (punktar) inniheldur upplýsingar um mælda hæð. Elstu mælingar eru fengnar með loftvog en flestir punktar eru mældir með GPS staðsetningatækjum. Tremble staðsetningatæki var notað í vettvangsferð 2024 og 2025. Á nokkrum stöðum koma fram skekkjur þegar borin eru saman mælipunktar og landform fjörumarka á Maxar gervitunglamynd. Annars vegar tengist skekkjan flutningi upplýsinga af pappírsformi yfir á stafrænt form og hins vegar skekkju í mælitækjum. Í nokkrum tilfellum þar sem augljósar skekkjur eru í mælipunktum var landformið látið ráða og notað var landhæðarlíkanið ArcticDEM (með 2x2 m upplausn) til að fá fram hæð yfir sjávarmáli. Í þekjunni eru skráð mæld hæð (m h.y.s.), heimildir, nákvæmni mælipunkta, örnefni og frumgerð punkta (grein, felt, kort, DEM). Nokkrir punktar eru merktir sem persónulegar upplýsingar, og áður óbirt gögn, frá Hreggviði Norðdahl og Halldóri G. Péturssyni og skal geta þeirra í heimildum ef gögnin eru notuð í öðrum verkefnum.

The geospatial data layer (points) contains information on measured elevations. The oldest measurements were obtained using a barometer, while most points were measured using GPS positioning devices. A Trimble positioning device was used during field surveys in 2024 and 2025. At several locations, discrepancies occur when measured points are compared with shoreline landforms visible in Maxar satellite imagery. These discrepancies are partly due to the transfer of information from paper records to digital format and partly to inaccuracies in the measuring equipment. In a few cases where obvious errors were identified in the measurement points, the landforms were considered more reliable. The ArcticDEM digital elevation model (DEM), with a spatial resolution of 2 × 2 m, was used to determine elevations above sea level. The data layer contains the following attributes: measured elevation (m a.s.l.), references, measurement point accuracy, place names, and the original source of the points (publication, field survey, map or DEM). Some points are identified as personal information and previously unpublished data provided by Hreggviður Norðdahl and Halldór G. Pétursson. These individuals must be acknowledged in the references if their data are used in other projects.
