Jarðfræðikort af Íslandi 1:100.000 ÍSOR -- Geologic maps of Iceland 1:100.000

[IS] ÍSOR hefur gefið út jarðfræðikort í mælikvarðanum 1:100 000. Kortin byggjast á fjölmörgum jarðfræðikortum í stærri mælikvarða, sem unnin hafa verið fyrir verkkaupa ÍSOR og forvera þeirra, auk þess á eldri útgefnum yfirlitskortum. Vefþjónustan er hluti af átaksverkefni í jarðfræðikortlagningu Íslands sem umhverfis- og auðlindaráðuneytið (UAR) hefur staðið að síðan 2018 í samtarfi við Íslenskar orkurannsóknir (ÍSOR) og Náttúrufræðistofnun Íslands (NÍ). [EN] ÍSOR has also published geological maps at a scale of 1:100,000. These maps are based on numerous geological maps produced at larger scales for ÍSOR’s clients and their predecessors, as well as on previously published overview maps.

The web service is part of a dedicated geological mapping initiative for Iceland that has been led by the Ministry for the Environment and Natural Resources (UAR) since 2018, in collaboration with Iceland GeoSurvey (ÍSOR) and the Icelandic Institute of Natural History (NÍ).
